The LANKonnect Rack

As a Co-Locate customer you will be provided with a 42U server rack located within one of our core data centres. For fault tolerance each Co-Locate rack is connected to the LANKonnect core via two diversely routed 100Mbit/s uplinks. Each Co-Locate rack is also supplied with the following hardware:

• 2 x Cisco Layer 2 Switches with QoS support.
• 2 x APC Managed Power Distribution Units providing 16 power outlets.
• 1 x 16 port KVM switch with CAT5 cable management.
• 1 x 17” rack mounted TFT screen, Keyboard and Trackpad.

Along with the dedicated rack the Co-Locate service also provides you with permanent 24x7 access to your equipment, 365 days a year.
