Symmetric Digital Subscriber Lines (SDSL) provides a very similar service to ADSL but provides Symmetric data transmission (the same upstream and downstream transmission rate). With rates availble up to 2Mbit/s SDSL services provide a cost effective alternative to traditional leased line services.

• Contention ratios from 10:1 down to 1:1 available
